Laurel soap was known in Syria, specifically in the city of Aleppo, as it was the first city in which laurel soap was made. It is made from a tree called laurel. Laurel soap consists of a group of oils, the most important of which is olive oil, in addition to black seed oil, palm oil, coconut oil, and cotton seeds. As laurel soap does not contain any of the aromatic materials or manufactured dyes, and there are no chemicals or industrial substances that harm the skin and hair.
